Silence

This office is a weird place to work sometimes. There are days when it is ridiculously crazy in here. Most days, though, have their own hints of craziness and normalcy. Today, though, is just plain quiet...like that weird calm before the storm kind of quiet.

I often will look for things to do when I've run out of things on my to-do list (this is a rare occasion, as I'm usually pretty busy). But in the 14 months I've been here, I've learned that these days should be cherished, because odds are tomorrow is going to be a mess. So I'm laying low back in my cubicle and only showing my face minimally so as to allow people to forget I'm here. I could use a relaxing day like this. Just one though, because if every day were like this I'd be out of a job.
