SG on TV: Last Season Picks From "Lost"

In light of the fact that TV sucks lately, I'm going to bring you a steady dose of some of the best scenes from television last "season". (I use the term lightly as seasons vary from cable to network.)

The first in this series is my favorite scenes from Lost this past season. Both are from the episode "Something Nice Back Home."

The first one is where Jack wakes up and we learn (*gasp*) that he's living with Kate and Aaron.




The second one, is where Kate reassures Jack that he is good with Aaron and Jack asks her to marry him.


It's too bad the episode had to end with them going their separate ways. It was just a tease for us "Jate" fans. I demand retribution!

Now I have to wait patiently until January for more answers. Where's the Island? Are Sawyer and Juliet the next big thing? What did that redhead mean that she was from the Island? What will happen to Desmond and Penny? Was Aaron meant to go back as well? What's Claire's glitch?

Eh...dog days of summer, indeed!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!

TONIGHT IS THE SEASON PREMIER OF LOST!!!!!

I'M SO EXCITED I'M WRITING IN ALL CAPS!!!! AND USING MANY EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!

USA Today today gives it FOUR OUT OF FOUR STARS.

I'm nearly peeing my pants in anticipation. I always have so many dreams about Lost--some good, some bad. But they're always interesting. It's just so refreshing to have a TV show that has a little literary mystery and a sense of trying to find a moral compass to it.

Plus, Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway rock my world in an inexplicable manner.

Lost

Last night was another good episode of Lost--nothing as explosive as last week, but it was very good nevertheless.

I really love that show. There are so many reasons to like it--the mysticism, the amazingly hot cast, the well-written and well-thought-out plots. The show has gotten even better since we got the HD television. To see the scenery of Oahu like that is amazing--and it's really what it looks like. Of course seeing it in person is a whole other experience. If I ever go back there, I want to take some Lost tour where they show you the beaches they film on in particular.

If I were stranded on a beautiful deserted island I think I might enjoy it. For about five minutes until I had to go to the bathroom. And don't even get me started on the Others...I'd be done with that BS immediately. Talk about people needing to cut the games.
