The great state of Michigan now has something else to look forward to--supporting Iraqi refugees. In an already ailing state this can mean disaster. Some think that it may lead to new opportunities because of an influx of ideas. I'd love to agree, but I gave up being a bright-eyed optimist for lent.
And of course, will the federal government help transition these people into successful lives here now that they ruined their lives at home? Probably not. And again, the Mitten gets screwed.

Hell, most of the existing citizens of Detroit are refugees. I can't wait for all the hate crimes to start happening.
