JoeJoe KKKnollenberg, my less than stellar U.S. Rep wants to cut funding to the Carter Center because Jimmy Carter is willing to sit down with Hammas leaders.

You've got to be freaking kidding me. There's a reason Jimmy Carter has won a Nobel Peace Prize and JoeJoe KKKnollenberg hasn't...and this is a glaring example of it...he's a freaking idiot.

Said Knollenberg: “America must speak with one voice against our terrorist enemies. It sends a fundamentally troubling message when an American dignitary is engaged in dialogue with terrorists. My legislation will make sure that taxpayer dollars are not being used to support discussions or negotiations with terrorist groups.”

Um...if we are going to "speak with one voice" don't we have to talk to them anyways. So what if (and this is just a hypothetical), but what if we just go ahead and trying solve things in a civilized manner instead of resulting to hate and violence?

The bill, the Coordinated American Response to Extreme Radicals or CARTER Act prohibits taxpayer funds from being appropriated to the Carter Center, which Knollenberg’s office said has received at least $19 million in federal money since 2001.

So wait a minute...not only are we getting involved in something that we shouldn't be, but we're having extremely idiotic names for our bills. Cut it out right now. We're going to take money away from humanitarian efforts because a dude wants to meet with another dude and shoot the shit?
